Gladding, McBean & Co.

The Gladding, McBean Los Angeles Glendale plant begins production of Franciscan art ware and dinnerware in 1934. Sold as Franciscan Pottery, the trade name is changed to Franciscan Ware by 1937. Mary Grant is Head of the Dinnerware Design department.
