Dear All,
This Friday, 12th February, at the Welsh Centre we will have pre-Milonga Tango classes for all levels, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, and then social dancing until 11pm. The classes will be taught by Antonio Riva and Octavian Janner, and the non-beginners class will focus on ganchos.
Prices will be:
- £10, normal price;
- £7, normal price with Bonus Voucher;
- £5, non dancers.
All prices include Tango class, Milonga and dinner buffet.

Thanks to all of you who came to our 1st birthday party last Friday – we’re glad to hear you enjoyed the concert by Sebastian Pecznik and the surprise tango performance!

Friday 8th January 2010 from 6.30pm on.
Tango@theWelsh, the newest Friday Milonga in London, celebrates its first Birthday with a spectacular event, including live Tango music, straight from Buenos Aires, and a great dancing surprise.
Programme of the night:
- 6.30pm: doors open and Tango classes start;
- 7.30pm: dinner buffet offered by Tango@theWelsh, accompanied by the soft notes of Sebastian Pecznik, guitarist from Buenos Aires currently touring in Europe to present his latest album “Sensaciones de Tango y Otros Momentos del Día“;
- 8pm: our resident DJ and Sebastian Pecznik take care of our guests for a musical night of atmospheric Tango music and dance. During the night a dancing surprise is to be expected 
Sansha will also be present with a display and sale of new Tango shoes. Remember, bring your cheque book or cash, as you will not be able to pay by card. All Sansha branded shoes will be available with a 20% discount for all Tango@theWelsh guests.
Entry fee for the night:
- £12, for Tango dancers;
- £10, for Tango dancers with Tango@theWelsh Bonus Voucher;
- £7, for non Tango dancers.
All prices include Tango class, musical dinner, Milonga and concert/performances.

Next milonga
Friday 18th December 2009 – Christmas party!
Come and join us for our last milonga of 2009! We’ll be celebrating with a class taught by special guest teacher Luis Rodriguez, and with a Christmas party afterwards. We’ll also be giving each of our guests a glass of bubbly, and there will be mince pies available in addition to our usual buffet food.
Programme for this Friday:
6.30pm – 8pm tango classes (all levels)
8pm-11pm milonga (music and social dance – tango, vals and milonga)
Entry to the milonga:
£12 (including class, milonga and finger buffet – and of course your glass of bubbly!)
£10 for dancers with a Tango @ the Welsh bonus voucher
Non-dancers – £7 (including finger buffet)
Guest teacher Luis Rodriguez has been performing and teaching worldwide for 15 years. He is well known for his elegant style, musical interpretation and ability to help students develop their technique to gain fluidity in their dance.

Tango @ the Welsh will be back on Friday 8th January 2010, when we will be celebrating our 1st birthday!
Sansha will be with us on 8th January to celebrate. Sansha’s lovely dance shoes were a great success last time, so we’ll be very excited to have them back at the Welsh to welcome in the new year. Dancers at Tango @ the Welsh are eligible to receive a 20% discount on all Sansha brand shoes in their shop or at the Welsh. Friday 20th November 2009 – tango performance and class by Sandra and Santiago Monticelli @ the Welsh!
Thank you for a fantastic Friday @ the Welsh last week!
This week is our long-awaited Friday with Sandra and Santiago Monticelli:
6.30pm doors open, with tango classes (all levels) to start soon after – intermediate/advanced level class to be taught by Sandra and Santiago. There will also be a separate beginners level class as usual.
7.45pm-11pm milonga (music and social dance – tango, vals and milonga)
Around 9pm – tango performance by Sandra and Santiago Monticelli!
